Many are surprised with her hosting style that night. Some find it funny and good but others have negative comment on her hosting during the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night.
But according to the actress, it was told to her to do that style. Gonzaga said, "I was instructed po to make it fun, light and ease the tension especially during the Q&A portion. Again, it was instructed to me to host that way, to make it lively and fun."
However, Toni still asked forgiveness for all who didn't like her hosting. She said, "To those who were not pleased, sa mga hindi natuwa, hindi naibigan 'yung napanood nila noong Sunday, I'm humbly asking for apology if I offended or I have maligned or I have hurt anyone of you, but it was never my intention."
Some of the critics who become talk of the town are the Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 2000 Nina Alagao and Celebrity fashion designer Cary Santiago.
But in the end of the today, Toni was still thankful because there are many fans, friends and family who came to her defense and commended her way of hosting.
