The Philippines' historic film entitled "Heneral Luna" is now one of the certified blockbuster. The movie producers announced that they're already earned more than 240 Million pesos in the box office.
The biopic of our national hero Heneral Antonio Luna is the fist Filipino historical film to become the highest grossing of all time and this is also one of the most expensive Filipino epic historical films ever released, according to Wikipedia.
After weeks of showing "Heneral Luna" in all theatre nationwide, producers was officially announced that the film had reached its ₱240M break even point.
Despite that they offered 50% discount to all student audiences nationwide they still reached that said amount.
According to producer Fernando Ortigas and EA Rocah, they're thankful to their supporters and happy that their project became a smashing success.
Heneral Luna was directed by Jerrold Tarog and written by E.A. Rocha, Henry Hunt Francia and Jerrold Tarog. The production budget was 80 million pesos.
