Today to give everyone an update, the baby who is just 1 year and 5 months old is now on the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
In an exclusive interview via GMA news, the 23 year old mother of the baby says she's sorry for posting the photo's online and asking people not to judge her.
She said, "Kaisa-isa ko po 'yang lalaki. Unang anak ko po iyan. Kaya para sa sa akin po, talagang mahalaga po siya sa akin. Hindi ko po talaga intensyon na masama 'yun," and added, "Nanghihingi po ako ng tawad sa ginawa ko. Mahal na mahal ko po 'yung anak na 'yan. Kahit magtanong kayo sa barangay sa amin, kilala po ako na maarugang ina po ako,"
The husband and the father of the baby also came to rescue the mother saying that her wife is good and also asked everyone's forgiveness.
He said, "Sa mga hindi po nakakakilala sa asawa ko, mabuti asawa po [siya]. Sa ibang tao, hindi ko po kayo masisisi kasi hindi n'yo ho kami lubos na kilala eh. Ako na ho 'yung humihingi ng paumanhin sa nangyari."
However, DSWD still took the child under their custody after the father turned him over to the bureau branch in Region III. The child later on sent to the hospital for check-up and will soon turned down to DSWD Pampanga.
